3 Unexpected Benefits of Scheduling through Facebook
By now, a lot of people are aware of the power of using online scheduling for their service-based business – i.e. Eliminate phone tag, reduce ‘no-shows’, create convenience for you clients, control your schedule from your smart phone, etc… There are, however, 3 benefits of allowing your clients to schedule from your Facebook business page that are somewhat lesser known. Thought I would share them here:
1. Your clients always see your full list of services – If you’re still taking all your appointments over the phone, you’ll notice that your clients are always scheduling the same thing. By allowing them to see your full list of services every time they book, they’ll see other services you offer. This will lead to questions about those services and eventually that client will book those additional services. It’s not unlike a restaurant menu scenario where those additional offerings will lead to additional appointments!!
2. Fan feedback on how you’re booked out – when your fans/clients book through your Facebook business page, they’ll inevitably see that you’re already booked through next week. They’ll then mention that on your page in hopes of getting in to see you before you have an opening. As soon as your other clients/fans see that, they’ll begin scheduling further in advance than they ever have before. This trend will continue until you’re booked out further than you could have ever imagined. I’ve seen it happen multiple times. Try it and see for yourself!
3. Filling last minute openings – If you do find yourself with a last minute opening, you can easily announce it on your business page or create a Pop-Up Offer and post it. The first interested client to see it and book it, gets it – even if you’re working, playing or sleeping! It’s a great way to keep your calendar full!
